On behalf of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Demetrius, we are delighted to invite you and your family to join us for the SnowDrop Gala, Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the historic and elegant, Old Mill Toronto, Brûlé Rooms.
For the past 75 years, the parishioners of UOC St. Demetrius have endeavoured to meet the spiritual, social and cultural needs, both within our community and in outreach to the greater surrounding community. We are now faced with the need to replace or upgrade much of our physical structure. As well, a number of our programmes, successful in the past, need to be brought forward into the 21st century. Phase One of our project has a budget of $300,000; we have currently raised $183,000. We look forward, with your help, to attaining our goal so we may continue our important work here, at St. Demetrius.
Tickets for our SnowDrop Gala are $175.00 per person, which includes parking, coat check, dinner with wine, dancing, exciting entertainment and much more. Tickets for the dance only portion of this event are available for $65.00. Partial tax receipts will be provided.

За останні 75 років парафіяни УПЦ святого Димитрія намагалися задовольнити духовні, соціальні та культурні потреби у нашій громаді, а також у ширшій навколишній спільноті. Зараз перед нами постала необхідність замінити або модернізувати велику частину будівлі нашого собору. Крім того, низку наших успішних у минулому програм нині слід осучаснити відповідно до реалій 21-го століття. Перший етап нашого проекту має бюджет $300,000; на сьогодні нам вдалося зібрати $183,000. In preparation for the coming Great Fast, the Eastern Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Canada invites all Youth, ages 7–25, together with their parents to attend a Retreat — on Saturday, February 27th, 2016, from 1:15pm — at St. Demetrius’ Ukrainian Orthodox Sobor — 3338 Lakeshore Boulevard West, Toronto, ON.
The theme of this Retreat is: “Love”.
