Following Saturday and Sunday services throughout August, the parishioners of St. Anne’s parish in Scarborough have been reading the Akathist to the Great-Martyr and Healer St. Panteleimon before the icon that bears his relic — material from the saint’s burial shroud.

As the month draws to a close, we invite all brothers and sisters in Christ to join us in our veneration as we sing, with one voice:
