Student Artists may apply in one of the following categories:

  • JUNIOR: ages 5–8
  • INTERMEDIATE: ages 9–12
  • SENIOR: ages 13–17

Each artist may submit 1 Original piece of artwork which MUST be of their own creation.

Acceptable Mediums on your choice of Paper or Canvas:

  • Watercolour Paint
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Crayons
  • Pencil Crayons
  • Pencil
  • Pen & Ink
  • Charcoal
  • Conté

  • The Garden that grew the Pioneers Daily Food
  • Seeding the Land and Harvesting the Crops
  • Homesteading and Settling the Prairies
  • Pioneer Life for Ukrainian Children
  • Ukrainian Christmas Traditions
  • Life in a rural Ukrainian town
  • Our Ukrainian Church
  • Prairie Farm Animals
  • Preparing for Winter
  • A Pioneer Easter

One PRIZE will be awarded in each category at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 6th

  • JUNIOR (ages 5–8): $50
  • INTERMEDIATE (9–12): $100
  • SENIOR (13–17): $200

Prize Donors:

  • Ukrainian Women’s Association of Canada Kniahynia Olha Branch
  • Fellowship of Ss. Cyril and Methodios

Judges:
